What’s the name of this sailplane with engine?

Today I saw what at first I thought was a sailplane heading in to a small airport. It had the wide wingspan, slim fuselage and slow speed of a glider. The tail was T-shaped and it had tricycle landing gear. Then I noticed it had a propeller on the nose. What’s the name of this fascinating light aircraft?

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

    What you saw was probably a motor glider. There are quite a few companies that manufacture them. If you Google motor glider you might find the specific model you saw.

    Sounds like the DIAMOND HK36 Here is a shot of it and the information.

    If that is what you saw. T-Tail long wings, thin fuselage etc.
