Will my thighs get thinner faster if I diet with my excercise?

I have larger giggly thighs but a smaller body….I try to run 4-5 times a week. (about a mile a day) but my thighs don’t go anywhere!
Would a diet help?

    I would try weight watchers.com They have a website where you can design a meal plan right for you with so many points a day. They have charts telling how many points almost all kinds of foods are. Stay within that range and exercises at least 3 times a week. (the weightwatchers is free as long as you don’t sign up for the meetings)
    little tips:
    fruits and veggies are ALWAYS a good choice for all meals and snacks
    anything with the gree healthy choice trademark on its container is usually safe (like the green on on an aquifina bottle)
    if you want to eat unhealthy for a bit do it in small portions
    Stay away from:
    fast food
    muffins
    milk shakes
    mayonnaise

    Simple changes:
    get wheat bread from now on
    the whiter the meat or cheese the better for you (like turkey and provolone)
    sugar free jello with sugar free whipped cream for fun snacks
    get reduced fat or low fat or low sugar when possible.

    Lose weight fast

    Proper diet will help lose fat, and by proper diet I don’t mean eat salads every day. Look at the food pyramid.
