What if all I had was diet lipton tea?

ilovehim23 asked:

The rasberry lipton tea is 5 calories per glass (1 cup). If the only thing I consumed for a week was the diet lipton tea. Plus I exercise at least a half hour per day. Would I lose weight, if you think so, then how much?

If you stop eating then your metabolism slows down, I’d say just limit the amount of food you eat and what you eat along with exercise and that should help

    Metabolism and Your Weight

Yes you will lose weight. After about 21 days however your body would start using your vital organs for energy and you would slip into a coma. Look up information on fasting for more information on ketosis (the body’s way of sparing protein during fasting) and starvation (which is when the body has run out of unnecessary fat and will switch to organs for energy). Be careful.

    It won’t work
if you are loosing a couple pounds or a lot it won’t because. Having an unrealistic diet like that will eventually cause you to binge and eat outrageously.

You have to change your diet and follow through with it. Watch calories and over eating as well as late night eating. Exercising 4 a week won’t do a thing because you will start toning and eventually getting muscle.

Weight loss has to be consistent

    Lose weight fast

You would but then it would come back with a vengeance as soon as you put food in your mouth. Starving is a dumb idea. It’s dangerous and could put you in the hospital. Not to mention that you wouldn’t have much fun showing off that trim body because you would be crashing all the time and be moody with no energy at all. Stick to healthy low calorie meals like fish and chicken with dry veggies. Keep a balanced diet and your body will remain healthy or even become healthier. The weight you lose will stay off longer and you’ll have enough energy to spend an hour at the gym and still go out with your friends. Please don’t try this “tea” diet!

    Fastest Way to Lose Weight

As a fitness coach, I can tell you that you would never lose weight this way. Maybe initially, but not long term. The issue is that people tend to believe that dieting like this actually produces drastic weight loss results. Actually, what it does is harm your body and build up reserves when you finally eat.

Metabolism is the break down of foods in your body. If you eat a lot of the right things and take care of yourself, your body naturally adapts to your diet. If you eat tons of fatty foods and never work out, the fats, carbs, and sugars and things have no place to go. You burn no energy and instead, build fat.

With what you plan on doing, you are starving your body of necessary nutrients it needs to survive. You are sending a signal to your body that you are starving and, after a few days of not consuming food, your body beings to eat itself- starting with the lining of your stomach. Eventually, once it’s destroyed all of the available sources of nutrients for your body, it will eat away at muscles. As they deteriorate, you lose energy, fall ill, and find yourself metabolically and physically destroyed for all eternity. By the time you finally eat something, everything you eat is stored away because your body is not sure when it will eat again.

Instead, I suggest moderating portions and monitoring what you eat. Keep a food diary! People that keep a food diary lose twice as much as people that don’t. Weight yourself weekly, change your habits, eat better, sleep well, and stay active! all of these are parts of the recipe for success! ;-)

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

Wow, these people don’t really know what they’re talking about.

If you don’t eat, you’ll die after a week or two. You will not last a month (but you will lose much more than 5 pounds like that other girl said) on tea alone, and no, you will not go into a coma, lol.
Plus, you’re metabolism will slow down so you’ll gradually start to lose less weight, actually.
And the minimum calorie intake you should be eating is 1200 calories! Good portions and exercise is gold.
Good luck, and no starving yourself!

    Metabolism and Your Weight

Losing weight can be an issue should you you hit the feared plateau. The fact of the matter is that not all excess weight is fat. You can rinse out as much as twenty pounds by taking the newest supplement which cleans the insides. There’s a risk free trial on offer at I haven’t used it however my cousin has – she shed 17 pounds so perhaps this is the silver pill which reeaaally does have an effect!!

How To Lose Weight Free 60 page Book

Calories is a major topic when it comes to weight loss. We need to learn 3 things: the volume of calories in our food, the volume of calories a certain activity burns every sixty minutes, and last but not least our own personal daily limit of calories. I uncovered the responses to all of these questions by learning from the website in the box below, they have plenty of tips, I lost 5 pounds by following their techniques.
